Brilliant This is an excellent piece of work. Although I am not a great lover of the historical type novels, this stands out because of the purity of the writing. The characters are superb, it is very clever to use two of the main characters that are so well known in this genre and twist the story back to front.
Your descriptive text on the streets of old London are excellent and the short sharp staccato type voice of Moriarty is brilliant, I can actually picture the upper class doctor's brogue peeling through the vocabulary.
I only noticed one or two minor errors in the grammar, more of an oversight that you will find or an editor should find when this book goes to print as in mind, it undoubtedly should. As I said, I am not a fan of this genre, but I would buy and read this ..

Synopsis
