Hello YWOers, Anyone fancy swapping a free will? Mine's the Shocking Tale of the Disappearing Cats V3. After some very helpful pointers in recent free wills by Jaywhat and Andrew Wrigley, I've made what I hope are changes for the better, and I'd love some more feedback. Like many of you, I'm debating whether to take up the free printing offer, but I want my book to be as good as it can be (and that's whats holding me back). The irony of it. After waiting weeks for an assignment review to pop up, it was from Mischa. But I'm glad I unwittingly uncovered the Shocking Tale of the Repetitive Reviews... Emma

Hi Emma, I'm happy to do a swap. By the way, well done for uncovering the mischa repeat business! If you're happy to take a look at Dark Shadow, I should be able to do a free will sometime today, all the best, Karen. Thanks for your review of The Wolf in the Wardrobe. I was out of action last week after passing a gallstone (!) so I didn't do a free will for you, but will get onto it asap. Currently sofa bound so lots of time. Sorry for the delay. Best Lucy

I have a 10 month old daughter and I write when she's asleep and generally not causing havoc. Thanks, Emma

Emma
I have just uploaded Adios, Aurora (rev 3). I will look at yours if you look at mine...
After the last exhanges of Free Wills with you, JohnnyVee, Willie Boy and others, I finally heeded the critics (Did I ever say 'don't try to keep everyone happy'?) and restructured the story.
Would be interested in new and repeated feedback.

I've also heeded your advice and uploaded a version with what I hope is a sustained arc of tension. I've also developed Jake and Hannah's relationship a bit and changed the beginning. Be delighted to have your thoughts. I'm still planning to tell the reader's more about Jake, his hobbies, etc, but still looking for the right place to work that in. Emma

I wanted to do it a few days ago but my mommy passed away on Monday and have been away from the site until today. Perhaps over the weekend I'll take a looksie...

Hi Jen, I'm very sorry to hear about your mother, it must be a sad time for you. I'm sure you have some great memories of her. Thank you for your kind offer. Whenever you're feeling up to it. Have you made any revisions to your story that you would like me to read? Take care, Emma

Have you made any revisions to your story that you would like me to read? Take care, Emma I made some changes. I got the advice of a couple of book reviewers who suggested to get eliminate the prologue and use it elsewhere. When we discussed the future of the three books in detail and devised a strategy plan, I agreed with their suggestion for many reasons. So, I no longer have the prologue but it will be used in a different way later down the road. With that said, I think the other chapters have been beefed up a little and some things have changed but not much. If you want to read it again, you can and let me know what you think. Otherwise, it's pretty much the same, just tighter, I think.
