Hello everyone. I doubt if many of you will remember me as I haven't been on site for ages. However, for those who do, my book, Woodsmoke, which is in the best seller charts, is finished at last! All 65,000 words of it.

I am waiting to see if I can get a free publishing deal on here and then hope to have it published, perhaps by Legend.

Thanks to all of you who gave Woodsmoke such great reviews in the past. I was encouraged by the comments and suggestions, and used many of them to improve the story.

Best wishes

Eileen

Thank you, PaulF. I'm sure I remember you gave Woodsmoke a good review. Hope your own writing is going well. It's really hard work.

Well done Eileen - Good to hear from you again. Your book opens a window on the way people lived during the second world war. Very authentic, exciting and an enjoyable story.

Best wishes, Gordon.

Thanks, Gordon. I don't recognise most of the members on here now, but it's nice to hear from one of the 'oldies', and I mean that in the best possible way !!

Thanks, Danny. I think the hardest part of writing a book is getting it published but who knows? I have enjoyed writing about the children's point of view of WW2.

Hello Eileen. Lovely to see you back!

Hello, HJW. I'm really pleased that I posted my message on here. I didn't think there would be anyone who would remember me but gave it a try and have heard from three 'old' members so far.

Hope your writing is going well. I am now halfway through the sequel to my first novel and hope to finish that by Christmas.

Woodsmoke was a joy to write, although I did get a little bit fed up with it towards the end, as you do.

Best wishes

Eileen

Hello, leighvtwersky. I remember your review of Woodsmoke. It was one of the most encouraging ones I had. In fact, I have it, along with all the others, on file.
Glad to see so many of the 'oldies' are still around. Thanks for replying to my posting.

Best wishes

Hello, Justine. I will almost certainly use the POD on here for Woodsmoke. Am waiting at the moment for a response from Ted to my application for the free publishing offer. It may be cheaper for me to do that and buy the books, then resell them. Will let you know.
